Rapide Driving School doesn’t believe that your learning has finished the day you pass your test. That’s why all instructors offer pass plus, motorway lessons and Refresher Courses. These lessons will help to prepare you for driving outside of your local area.
Pass Plus
Pass plus is a scheme introduced by the DSA to help newly qualified drivers, stats show that newly qualified drivers are far more likely to have an accident in their first two years. This is thought to mainly be down to a lack of experience. This is where the Pass Plus scheme helps, Pass Plus consists of six modules,
- In town
- In all weathers
- On rural roads
- At night
- On dual Carriageways
- On motorways
The pass plus course last a minimum of 6 Hours but can take more of your instructor thinks it’s necessary. At the end of the training course, newly qualified drivers will be much better prepared for driving outside of their local area. Motorway Lessons
If you would rather shorter course just on motorway driving your Rapide instructor can also offer that. This would focus on joining and leaving the motorway and forward planning and overtaking. This course is available to all drivers whether you have just passed or are looking to gain some confidence on motorways.
Refresher Courses
Rapide Driving School also offers refresher lessons. These lessons are designed to help people who have maybe passed their test a long time ago and are looking to brush up on a few things. This may range from some basic parking manoeuvres all the way to motorway experience. Your instructor will tailor make some lessons plans that suit your specific needs.
